Ingredients

  • 300g Raw prawns (shrimp), peeled and deveined, large size recommended
  • ½ jar Krish's Miso & Ginger Magic Sauce Magic Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Vegetable or grapeseed oil (for high heat)
  • 1 cup Assorted stir-fry vegetables (bell peppers, snow peas, carrots, broccoli)
  • For serving Cooked rice or noodles
  • For garnish Toasted sesame seeds and sliced green onions

This is my 15-minute weeknight hero. The key is patting those prawns completely dry and keeping the heat high. The Miso & Ginger sauce does all the flavour work — you just need to nail the timing.

Method

Prepare the Ingredients

Pat the prawns dry with paper towels — this is crucial for a good sear. Chop your vegetables into bite-sized pieces. Have your Miso & Ginger Magic Sauce ready by the stove.

Stir-Fry the Vegetables

Heat oil in a wok over high heat until shimmering. Add harder vegetables first (carrots, broccoli) and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes. Add softer vegetables (bell peppers, snow peas) and cook another 1-2 minutes until tender-crisp. Remove and set aside.

Cook the Prawns

Return pan to high heat. Add the dry prawns and stir-fry for 1-2 minutes until they start turning pink. Add 2 tablespoons of Miso & Ginger Magic Sauce and toss quickly for 30 seconds until prawns are cooked and coated in a glossy glaze.

Combine & Serve

Return the vegetables to the pan. Add the remaining tablespoon of sauce and toss everything together for 30 seconds. Serve immediately over hot rice or noodles. Garnish generously with toasted sesame seeds and sliced green onions.
