  • 2 Salmon fillets (approx. 150-180g each), skin on or off
  • 3 tbsp Krish's Miso & Ginger Magic Sauce Magic Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Sesame oil or olive oil
  • To taste Salt and pepper (optional)
  • For garnish Sesame seeds, sliced green onions, or lime wedge

This is my go-to healthy dinner — just 20 minutes and you've got restaurant-quality salmon. The Miso & Ginger sauce caramelizes beautifully in the oven. Pat the salmon dry and don't skip the second glaze at the end!

Method

Prepare the Salmon

Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels — this helps achieve a nice sear. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F) or preheat a non-stick frying pan over medium-high heat.

Apply the Sauce

Place salmon on a lined baking tray (for oven) or in your heated pan skin-side down (for pan-frying). Brush about half of the Miso & Ginger Magic Sauce evenly over the top and sides of the fillets.

Cook the Salmon

For oven: Bake 12-15 minutes until cooked through and the glaze is golden and caramelized. For pan-frying: Cook skin-side down 4-6 minutes until crispy, flip and cook another 4-6 minutes until salmon flakes easily.

Glaze & Serve

In the last 2 minutes, brush remaining sauce onto the salmon to reinforce the glaze. Remove from heat and garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions. Serve with steamed rice and green beans or asparagus.
